Good people. Real builds. Your city.

Free evening meetups for anyone building with Claude, run by locals with Anthropic's support. A feature talk, an open mic for your demos and a room full of people working out the same things you are.

Look for the clay square.

Every city gets the same tile on Luma: Claude Community, the raised hands and your city. Spot it and you've found us. Tap a city for what's next.

What a meetup is

Two hours, one room, everyone building.

A Claude Community meetup is a free evening for people using Claude Code and Claude at work, at home or somewhere in between. Developers sit next to marketers, founders and the plain curious.

They're organised by local Claude enthusiasts and hosted with partners like Inspire9, Stone & Chalk, AWS, Spacecubed and NVI Flinders, with Anthropic in support. Spots are limited, so grab one early.

What to expect.

Not a lecture. You'll watch, you'll ask, and if you've built something, you'll get the mic.

Speakers

People who ship, not people who pitch

A feature talk from someone using Claude for real: subagents in production, MCP servers with proper UIs, an AI guardian built by a trader who isn't a programmer.

Open mic

The stage is yours

Clever workflows, tiny automation hacks, full agent systems, half-finished builds. Get up, show the room, get unstuck.

Live demos

Watch it work, live

Real terminals, real repos, real mistakes. You see how people actually drive Claude Code, not the highlight reel.

Ask anything

No question too geeky

Live Q&A to close the program, with the Anthropic team when they're in the room. Bring the thing that's been bugging you.

Get involved

Find someone to build with

Doors open with networking for a reason. Plenty of collaborations, hires and side projects have started over a laptop at the back of the room.

A good night

Celebrate the community

It's a great time. A room of people who share the same obsession, cheering each other's builds. That's the whole point.

A table of builders laughing together
A builder explaining an idea mid-conversation
Two builders laughing at a laptop
A relaxed conversation on the lounges

How a night runs.

The run of night from a Melbourne meetup. Most cities run 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Sydney sometimes opens the doors at 5:30.

    Doors open and networking
Meet the people next to you and warm up before the program starts.

    Opening: why we're here
A quick intro to set the vibe for Australia's growing Claude community.
  3. 6:30 pm
    Feature talk
One speaker, one real build. In Melbourne: Claude Code in production with subagents, output styles and commands.
  4. 6:45 pm
    Open mic: real-world use cases
Demos, experiments, wild ideas and work in progress. All fair game.
  5. 7:15 pm
    Live Q&A
Throw your questions at the speakers, and at the Anthropic team when they join us.
  6. 7:30 pm
    Keep talking
Find the person whose demo you liked. We wrap at 8.
