Claude Design sessions.
Hands-on nights for designers, marketers, founders and anyone who has to make things look good. People from the community show how they use Claude Design, then you make something real on the night. Next one: [CLAUDE DESIGN WORKSHOP].
Design a landing page for a Melbourne coffee roaster. Warm and editorial, big serif headlines, a hero photo slot, three origin cards and a subscribe block. Then show me the mobile version
Made on the night.
Examples of what people make in a single session, each with the prompt we used. Illustrative, built for this page.
“Landing page for a Melbourne coffee roaster. Warm, editorial, three origin cards and a subscribe block.”
“Home screen for a running app. Friendly, one big stat, a clear start button.”
“A square LinkedIn carousel cover. Dark, one big line, swipe dots.”
“Event poster for an Adelaide build night in our clay colour. Then the same thing as an Instagram story and a Luma banner.”How a Claude Design night runs.
Show and tell from people who use it, then everyone makes something. Beginners very welcome.
Doors
Grab a drink, find a seat, get on the wifi.
Short talks
Two or three practitioners show what they actually do, about ten minutes each.
Hands-on
Laptops open. We work through the session prompts on real-style examples, with helpers in the room.
Q and A, show and tell
Questions, what worked, what didn't, and a few people show what they made.
- A laptop and charger
- A Claude account
- Something real to design: a flyer, a page, a pitch
- Your brand colours, if you have them
What you'll learn.
Prompt
You'll learn to brief it the way you'd brief a designer: audience, mood, what has to be on it.
Canvas
We work through variations, a mobile version and a darker take on the same idea, side by side.
Play and comment
You'll click through your prototype, pin comments where something's off, and fix it in the chat.
Share or export
We cover sharing a private link for feedback and exporting to tools like Canva.
Your brand, on every artboard.
We set up colours, type and components once, so everything you make afterwards uses them. No more “close enough” orange.
Take-home prompts.
Everyone leaves with these. Copy one, swap in your details, and go. The more you say about the audience, the better it gets.
Make a clickable prototype
Three directions at once
A social set in one go
Redesign what you've got
This website was mocked up in it.
Every page of this redesign started as an artboard on a Claude Design canvas: the homepage, the events programme, the city pages, this one. We clicked through it, left comments, changed our minds a lot, then built it.
Come and make something.
Bring a project, leave with designs. Next session: [CLAUDE DESIGN WORKSHOP]. Made something good? Come and show it off.
